There's No Place Like Home is an Edward and Eric DVD and VHS that were both released on February 7, 2006. The DVD contains eight episodes, while the VHS only contains the first five.

Back cover description[]

Cozy up at home by watching these classic, chaotic chronicles from America's favorite brothers as they show you what life in Lakeside City is really all about. You'll laugh and anticipate for more as they try to consult with their greedy landlord, jam it in a band, battle monsters, and amongst others!

Episodes[]

  • Homeless - The Pearsons get evicted from their apartment, so they seek out the local rich family, the Breaults, for help on getting it back from their greedy landlord!
  • Strike Up the Band - The Lucky 6 joins Cal's band for the school's upcoming talent show and to one-up Carver.
  • Monster Mania - Monsters invade Lakeside City, so it's up to The Lucky 6 to conquer them!
  • Lost and Found - Not only do Edward and Eric accidentally board the wrong school bus, but they also fall asleep during the ride, which leaves them lost in The Bronx!
  • One Small Step for Ed - Principal Walker has run out of cheese in his refrigerator, so his idea of getting more cheese is...stealing a rocket and going to the sun!

DVD[]

The DVD contains three bonus episodes.

  • Weekend at Edward's - Carver gets kicked out of his apartment, so he bunks in with Edward and Eric and throws a wild party!
  • Spice of Life - Dallas dives in to teach Edward how to swim so he can pass the school gym's annual swimming test, but Edward is terrified of going in the water.
  • Comedy Gold - Too lazy to dig up his own basketball court, Principal Walker dupes the students into doing it, but then it backfires in a big way when Edward thinks there's gold underground!

Bonus Features[]

  • Previews
  • Credits

Trivia[]

  • Comedy Gold is the only episode on the DVD that was animated with the digital ink-and-paint method.
  • There's So Much to Sea was originally supposed to be on the VHS/DVD, but was ultimately replaced with Lost and Found. This is because it was already on the Cartoon Crack-Ups DVD and Nonsensical Nonsense VHS.
  • The DVD has one pair of sister episodes: Spice of Life/Homeless.
  • The cast list for each episode's sister episode is listed in the credits, even though they're obviously not on the VHS/DVD apart from Spice of Life/Homeless (e.g. Moment of Tooth's cast list appearing during One Small Step for Ed's credits).
  • This is the last DVD to include Season 1 episodes that hadn't been previously released on a compilation DVD.
  • The release date for this VHS/DVD is somewhat of an oddity, as it is themed after a Season 1 episode and contains episodes from the first three seasons, yet it was released in 2006.
  • The back cover contains images from Lost and Found, Homeless, and Spice of Life.
    • The image from Spice of Life is even on the VHS release, even though it's not on the VHS.
